Over the past decade, UTI has been researching and developing groundbreaking technologies, while constantly searching for the proper custom instrumentation at a fair cost. We soon discovered that, in most situations it is much more cost effective to retrofit and customize older equipment, than searching for very costly out of the box solutions.
Our approach has demonstrated a significant ownership cost reduction, for upgrading the existing equipment to the "digital century". We have retrofitted our microscopes to perform as well or better than most modern new scopes.
Many of our clients and colleagues were stunned to see thirty-year-old microscopes, performing with the same quality as the brand new machines. With much demand, we have decided to make retrofitting and upgrade services available by our SEM/TEM service, upgrade and consultation department.
